REBECCA TABER


Taber's paintings are a layering of both figurative and abstract elements, utilising both automatic techniques and careful study. Taber completed her MFA at Bath Spa University in 2005. Taking part in several residencies including Can Serrat, Barcelona 2005, Kala Art Institute Berkeley California 2006, and Siena Art Institute, Italy, founded by J.P Getty III 2011. She won the WESTAF award in 2009 for outstanding artist. Represented by Nettie Horn Gallery, London participating in several group and solo shows both nationally and internationally. Critical acclaim and reviews include a talk written by Courtauld Gallery Art Historian Barnaby Wright. Her work is in many public and private collections including Coca Cola Headquarters UK, Gowling WLG, London, and Siena Art Institute Italy. Taber currently lives and works in SW France.
