PEAKS & GLACIERS 2013
This will be our eleventh selling exhibition of paintings, drawings and historic photographs of the Alps from the early 1800s to the mid twentieth century. As acknowledged specialists in this field we offer a wide range of Alpine pictures by Swiss, German, French and British artists, some of whom were leading mountaineers in their day. Views of the Bernese Oberland, the Valais Alps, Chamonix and the Mont Blanc massif and the Dolomites will feature among the forty or so works on display. Prices will range from £ 2,000 to £ 80,000. A fully illustrated catalogue will be available and as a download in advance of the exhibition.
